Behavior Support Assistants

We have a team of 8 Behavior Support Assistants who provide services to students and school staff throughout the district, one permanently serving New Directions Center.

The structure of the District Behavior Support services is the same as last year, with some new enhancements to our services. Thus, the great work provided through this program will continue.

As of 2018-19, please note that there is a new MTSS requirement. All District BSA referrals must be reviewed in MTSS (or other problem-solving team committee) at least twice before being referred for District BSA support. MTSS meeting dates and minutes in which the specific student information was reviewed must be submitted with the other required documentation.

There is a new District Behavior Support Assistant referral form as well. It is located on this page along with other key documents. Please submit all documentation to Dr. Link.

If you would like to discuss a referral or get more information about the program, please contact Dr. Monique Link, District Coordinator - Section 504 / Intervention and Support Liaison, Extension 21042.
